Admission

6 Qs
How do I join BTSI?

Use the Student Registration form on this website, or contact your nearest BTSI branch directly. Registration creates an account on this website so you can track your training record and certificates. Final admission is confirmed by BTSI after reviewing your details and the availability of places in your preferred branch.

What is the minimum age to join?

Minimum age requirements are confirmed by BTSI and vary by course, because some courses include adventure, obstacle and water-based activities with different safety requirements. Please contact your nearest branch for the current age requirement before registering.

Is there a registration fee?

Any fee, and what it covers, is confirmed by BTSI. Because fees and inclusions are frequently updated, contact your nearest branch for the current information rather than relying on details published elsewhere.

Do I need any previous training or fitness experience?

No. The recommended starting course is Leadership & Discipline, which assumes no prior experience. Cadets must be medically fit for outdoor drill and physical training, and must declare any medical condition at registration.

What documents do I need for registration?

You will need your name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, state and district, your guardian's contact details for cadets below 18, and a recent passport-size photograph. Original documents are verified by BTSI at the branch.

Why do you need a guardian's consent?

Cadets below 18 need a signed guardian consent form before taking part in camps, adventure activities, obstacle training, water-based activities or any field exercise. The consent form also records medical conditions, allergies and regular medication. Keep your guardian's contact details accurate and up to date.

Training

8 Qs
Where does training take place?

Training is conducted at BTSI branches and training grounds. Your branch is confirmed at the time of registration. Contact your nearest branch for the exact schedule and venue.

Can I switch branches?

A branch transfer can be requested by contacting your current branch instructor. Transfers depend on seating availability at the destination branch and are confirmed by BTSI.

What are the training timings?

The monthly training schedule is published on the Notice Board and is also shared by your branch instructor. Sessions normally begin early in the morning, so plan your travel accordingly.

What training kit or uniform do I need?

The current uniform and equipment list is shared with cadets and their guardians at enrolment and is updated by BTSI. Requirements differ between drill, adventure and first aid sessions.

I have a medical condition. Can I still train?

Speak to your instructor before joining physical training. Cadets with a medical condition, allergy or regular medication must declare it at registration, and may need a current medical note. BTSI will confirm which activities are safe for you.

What happens if I miss training sessions?

Regular attendance matters, particularly for drill, safety and assessment modules. If you must miss sessions, inform your instructor in advance. Make-up sessions are subject to availability.

Are adventure and water activities compulsory?

No. Adventure, climbing, obstacle and water-based activities are optional and never forced. Cadets who are uncomfortable with heights, water or physical contact should tell their instructor, and ground-level alternatives are arranged.

Do I need to attend camps?

Camps are optional unless a specific course makes them compulsory. Some courses, such as Disaster Management, include a compulsory practical field exercise. Cadits below 18 need guardian consent for any camp.

Certificates

4 Qs
How do I get a BTSI certificate?

Certificates are issued on the basis of course completion, attendance and assessment, as confirmed by BTSI. Certificate conditions are communicated with your training record.

How can I verify a BTSI certificate?

Use the Certificate Verification page on this website and enter the certificate ID printed on the document. A verified result confirms that BTSI issued the certificate.

What if my certificate cannot be verified?

It means the certificate has not been issued by BTSI. Contact the BTSI head office before accepting or relying on it, and ask the holder for the certificate ID printed on the document.

My name is misspelled on the certificate. What should I do?

Report the error to your branch immediately. A reissue requires you to submit the original certificate together with correct proof of your name. Do not use a certificate with incorrect details.

Branches

3 Qs
Is there a BTSI branch near me?

Check the Branch Directory. Some branch listings are marked provisional until BTSI confirms their contact details — those entries list no phone number, so contact the head office and we will direct you to the nearest branch.

How do I open a new branch?

BTSI works with committed local volunteers who have a genuine interest in youth development. Write to the head office with your location, availability and a short note on why you want to serve. Branches are established only after BTSI approval and training.

Can my school or institution partner with BTSI?

Yes. BTSI runs institutional training and school programmes. Contact the head office with your institution's name, location, student numbers and the training you have in mind, and we will discuss what is possible.

General

Is this website an official BTSI website?

This website is maintained as the official public website of Blazing Tiger Squad Of India. Information shown here is provided by BTSI. Where a detail has not yet been confirmed by BTSI, it is labelled as provisional rather than presented as fact.

How do I report a problem with this website?

Use the Contact form and choose "Website issue" as the subject. Include the page address and a description so we can fix it quickly.

How can I support BTSI?

You can support BTSI through the Donation page, or by contributing time, skills or equipment to a branch. BTSI prioritises training, safety equipment and youth development. Contact the head office for specific current needs.

I am not a student. Can I volunteer?

Yes. BTSI depends on volunteers for instruction, first aid, event support, administration and community work. Contact the head office describing your skills and the time you can commit.

Does BTSI provide a uniform or equipment?

Uniform and equipment requirements are shared at enrolment and are updated by BTSI. For adventure sessions, personal clothing and footwear may be requested in addition to BTSI-provided technical safety equipment.
